Volunteer Opportunities

The Onalaska Band Program depends on volunteers to provide many opportunities to our students.

Chaperones: We depend on Chaperones to make sure that the students are safe and where they need to be. At parades, we use chaperones to provide water and supervise the health of the students on the parade route. At field shows, we depend on chaperones to supervise the bus and to help move equipment from place to place.

Concessions: One of the major sources of financial support for the band program is the fall concessions stand. The boosters provide roughly $350 per student of financial support to the program through the various instrument, equipment, and activities.

Fall Marching Band and Winterguard Props: We are always looking for parents and students with special skills in woodworking and metals. Our props are often times custom designed specifically for our show by our very own parents. If this is something you are interested in, please contact Mr. Coe.

Photographers: Any parent with a camera or phone can help us out in this area. We are very grateful to the numerous parents that send us pictures. If you are at an event and have a video or pictures, please reach out to Mr. Coe for the google drive extension to upload your photographs!
