This class will provide students with an opportunity to study the fundamentals of music composition. The information presented in this course is basic (entry-level) music theory. This course is for students who are interested in furthering their understanding of basic music concepts. This course may be taken as an independent study if there are not enough students to form a class, provided there is instructor consent. As an independent study, students must be responsible, self-motivated, and capable of working and learning on their own. 

This class will build on students’ knowledge of music theory. The information presented in this course is intermediate music theory. This course is for students who are interested in furthering their understanding of basic music concepts.
