Marching band

Marching Band

The marching band currently meets during the 4th hour of the school day.   The curriculum includes field show and parade routine.  Meets during summer school sessions (June/August) and 1st quarter.  Traditionally involved in all home halftime shows & local parade events (ie: Onalaska Community Days, Applefest, Oktoberfest). Very service-oriented (ie: Honor Freedom Flight, UWL-Band Day, Operation Homefront, Riverfront Picnic).

Students are evaluated for their field show performance much like an exam. Students may have a conflict with an event that is out of their control. We understand this and offer a make-up assignment to replace the missing exam grade.

Parades are our opportunity to perform for other communities. People come from all over to attend these events. We highly encourage students to attend all parades. We ask that you make every effort to attend the parades.

In case you are going to miss a performance, please click on the Documents/forms tab at the top of the page and go to our Missing Performance Notification Form. This form must be filled out before the event.
